Santa and Margret setting up the booth
Last Saturday, WoK set up shop at the American Recreation Association’s monthly flea market. It was a beautiful space, although shoppers were sparse. Other vendors said that things have been slow over the past couple months. Santa and Margret were there representing Women of Kireka and did a great job meeting and talking with other bead sellers at the market. It was good to see what the competition is up to. And I’d like to officially say that the 20 WoK women have the most original jewelry designs I’ve seen anywhere in the city!
